Langar is one of the most significant traditions for the Sikhs. This tradition is rooted in the Sikh principles of equality, humility, and selfless service. Contributing to Langar through sponsoring, preparation or cooking is considered a meaningful way to engage with the community and practice seva (selfless service). Families or individuals can take part in Langar Seva any day to celebrate special occasions, honour loved ones, or to serve the Sangat with gratitude and devotion even on regular diwaans.
